My Journeywith Ayurveda

I'm Giovanna Moreira, an Ayurvedic therapist and licensed nutritionist, trained in both Brazil and Portugal. My work focuses on women's holistic health, with an emphasis on detoxification, nourishment of the body and mind, and rejuvenation — always guided by the principles of traditional Indian medicine, which date back over 4,000 years.

Ayurveda came into my life in 2020 like a gentle breeze — something both new and deeply familiar. What began as a personal journey became my life's purpose: to help women reconnect with the natural balance of life, honoring their stories, their rhythms, and their uniqueness. Driven by this calling, I deepened my studies in Portugal, merging science and tradition with the aim of creating true harmony between body, mind, and soul.

Two days ago, I finally took the time to carefully read your Ayurvedic nutrition recommendations, and I was so happy to realize that during the entire two weeks of my detox marathon, I had already been following almost everything you wrote for me in your PDF. I ate kichari, avoided dairy after 2 PM, drank more warm water throughout the day — sometimes with a slice of lemon or a drop of lemon essential oil. I also noticed that I haven't been snacking at all and I only eat when I'm truly hungry - very much in tune with my body's rhythm. I cook everything with ghee. Now I just need to add the diuretic blend and start practicing Kapalabhati. I also try to drink warm water during meals and about an hour before eating. But - not talking while eating is the one thing I still haven't mastered. All in all, I just want to say how grateful I am to have received your professional guidance — it made me so happy to see that many of these things have already become part of my lifestyle. I truly feel lighter and better overall - I wake up more easily, my mind is calmer, digestion is smooth, and I feel no discomfort.
